INGREDIENTS:

METHOD:

  1. Beat together the semolina, 300 gr. of the  sugar and the eggs.
  2. Put the mixture in a pot, add the milk little by little, heat and boil for a     few minutes.
  3. Add the orange rind.
  4. Line a baking pan with half the phyllo dough, brushing each sheet with     melted butter.
  5. Let the sheets of dough hang out a few inches over the sides of the pan.
  6. Pour in the filling and fold the overhanging sheets over the top.
  7. Place the remaining phyllo dough on top of the pie, butter­ing as before.
  8. Bake in a moderate oven for 1/2 hour.
  9. In the meantime, prepare the syrup by boiling the rest of the sugar in     250 gr. water, to which the lemon juice has been added, for 5 minutes.
  10. Pour the syrup over the baked milk pie.
