INGREDIENTS:


METHOD:

  1. Lightly roast the almonds.
  2. Dilute niseste into water.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat pour sugar,2 tablespoons water and lemon juice.
  4. Stir until the sugar become dark caramel.Then add the butter and stir well.
  5. Reduce temperature and pour in small amounts of dissolved niseste continuing to stir until the mixture thickens, it will loosen from the sides of the pot and become a translucent mass.
  6. Finally scatters almonds and stir well again.
  7. Leave halva cool and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  8. Place under the grill to caramelise sugar on the surface.
