INGREDIENTS:


METHOD:

  1. Put the flour in a deep bowl.
  2. Make a well in the middle of the flour and pour in the beaten eggs, the sugar, lemon rind and oil.
  3. Mead well to form a stiff dough.
  4. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll it out in thin sheets.
  5. Cut each sheet into strips.
  6. Beat the oil well and drop in the strips of dough.
  7. Twist them around to form circles in the oil and fry them until they are golden brown.
  8. Boil the honey with 1 cup sugar.
  9. Skim off the foam, pour the syrup over the crullers and sprinkle them with cinnamon and walnuts.
